Crescom (CEO Jae Joon Lee), which provides artificial intelligence medical automatic analysis solution, announced on the 3rd that it was selected as the first penguin company supported by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT).

The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund’s first penguin support system discovers and selects key startups with promising future growth potential among promising startups with creative ideas and technology. The program supports the selected companies with KRW 3 billion (approximately 2.5 million USD) worth investment, following by linked investments. It is the system that provides the highest level of preferential treatment.

Crescom’s artificial intelligence bone age reading and growth analysis solution ‘mediAI-BA’, which was officially launched in 2020 after clinical trials and approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, is being used in more than 100 hospitals, and the number is continuously increasing. It is said that the satisfaction rate of the medical staff is very high because of higher accuracy than the world-class Stanford researchers' solution.

Crescom's artificial intelligence solutions are specialized for musculoskeletal systems such as automatic fracture detection(MediAI-FX), analysis of the severity of degenerative arthritis(MediAI-OA, in clinical trial), and spondylitis, as well as solutions for cerebrovascular diseases were selected in recognition of their high technology and future growth potential.

Crescom CEO Jae Joon Lee said, “It is Crescom’s vision to create a healthier future by helping medical staff get accurate and prompt diagnosis at the right time, anywhere in the world.”
